"If aliens land and we don't know if they are friendly"

Wife is subbing for a 1st grade class today and going over the lesson plan with the regular teacher yesterday was told that today the kids were to be told where the "safe place" was in the room/school.  

Q to teacher, What do you tell them about why they might need to know about a "safe place" ?

A. I tell them  "If aliens land and we don't know if they are friendly"

The kids will know how to relate to that answer if they watched all five seasons of Falling Skies.

Aliens know that schools are gun free zones.

The aliens are going to be pissed when we're all in hiding and all they wanted to do was use our cell to phone home.

If the teachers were armed we wouldn't need to be worrying about aliens, they could concentrate on educating the little brats.
