Michigan State QB Connor Cook has everything at stake at Michigan

EAST LANSING — Connor Cook's legacy is on the line Saturday afternoon in Ann Arbor, and to a degree so is his NFL draft stock.

Cook is already the winningest quarterback in Michigan State football history, a gaudy 29-3 record tying him with Stanford's Kevin Hogan for most wins among active QBs in the FBS ranks.

But as ESPN analyst and former Ohio State quarterback Kirk Herbstreit points out, games like Saturday's between the No. 7-ranked Spartans and the No. 12-ranked Michigan Wolverines are the sort that get talked about for decades.

"I think that 20 years from now they'll be talking about Connor Cook and all the amazing things he did, and they'll talk often about how he played in this rivalry game, so he's got a big opportunity for himself Saturday afternoon in Ann Arbor," Herbstreit told MLive.com in an exclusive interview.

I don't even blame tDude, I blame his parents. You need to start your kids young, and raise them proper. Most of us parents know what's up. We instill the proper ethics into the kid as children. Then, they grow up and do the right things. Like matriculate at MSU so we can go there for games and party.
