A little girl trick or treater, maybe 5 or 6 years old, came to the door, but didn't say anything. I asked her "what do you say?" She looked at my MSU shirt and she excitedly said "GO GREEN". I laughed, "That's right sweetie!" Needless to say, she got extra candy.

I don't understand the thing behind the sirens going off at 8 to end trick or treating. I know it's been a while since since my kids were little and a while since I've lived in a neighborhood with kids out and about on Halloween, but I don't remember people turning their porch lights off or kids scurrying home at the sound of the sirens.

EL has been using the sirens for several years now. One at 6 to start, one at 8 to end. Personally, I wouldn't care if we got stragglers after 8, but my wife closes the door and turns off the porch lights. She's strict.

Growing to really hate Halloween. Went for a jog on Saturday at about 4pm, saw a bunch of families out trick or treating. That's all good, seems like a good holiday for kids and parents.

The night before on Friday, our neighbors threw a party until four AM. We called the cops on them, could hear the neighbor next door asking them to quiet down and they were being defiant about it turning their stereo up louder.

Saturday night I could hear a loud party about a block away going all night. Kept me awake for a good deal of the night. For the most part halloween is just another terrible drinking holiday that turns into a fucking amateur hour. I hate Halloween, St. Patricks Day and New Years Eve.

I went to the one in our building and was invited. Did a quick stop over for a beer, and left. They were ripping into whiskey when I left, and I think that fueled the resulting shit show that went on for the rest of the night.

One other note about Halloween...this is always the one time of year I'm reminded that I don't like York Candies.

Great packaging, the presentation is awesome. After I have one though I recall why the only time I ever seem to have one is when they are given away for free.

I asked the same thing a little earlier in this thread, although I think I said mid-30s. He and the douche both agreed that it's not creepy since they're in good shape and have money. In other words, it's not just creepy, it's pathetic, too.
But since he's not bragging about fingerblasting some 20-year-old, Ive surmised that of all the stupid things ECU women did Saturday night, Blanch wasn't one of them. There's hope for our future, yet.
