Reggie had some great moments (the Garden especially) and sweet stroke - I was trying to go for some real old school dudes though.

Steph Curry is easily the best shooter ever. You old farts may not want to admit it yet, but when all is said and done you'll come around. You can't seriously tell me any of the other guys listed here from decades ago are the best shooter of all time, just laughable.

It cracks me up when people try to throw old timers in there. Curry made more than double the 3 pointers just last season than Gervin did in his entire career.
Oscar I never saw play, he might just be one of the best players ever but as I have gathered made his living scoring from mid range.

That would have gone something like:

Chuck Daly calls a time out.
Curry goes up for a 3 and Isiah knocks him in the mouth.
Curry goes up for another 3 and Dumars knocks him on his ass
Curry goes up for a three and Vinny Johnson knocks him out of bounds.
Draymond Green sets a pick for Curry and Mahorn knocks Green into Curry.

The Big O is maybe the best ever player. No question. But his game was never about pure shooting. He backed defenders down, pulled up from midrange and the entire flow of the game went through him.

He averaged a triple double one year.

But for pure shooting, Curry is far better.
