It's nice your wife wants to make sure your birthday is celebrated with your family after Saturday's game. Even nicer she's asking you to choose the eatery.
The her treat part I wonder about so go to El AZ and take advantage of the offer made by a Swill poster awhile back who works there.
PS
Happy Birthday. Having another one is better than not having any more.

tWife and I have been a couple of times with mixed reviews. I would suggest the Knight Cap but you will need a reservation. It's under new ownership and pricey but pretty damn good. Happy birthday !

I think the fact that they spell "grille" with an "e" on the end really enhances the dining experience. It must be a real fancy jointe.

In Lansing it's probably about the best you're gonna get. It's a good chain steakhouse.

I hear this Taco Bell place is great for steak. You should get some boss wraps and some brews and call it a night.

Don't go to the Knight Cap if anyone is claustrophobic.

It's not a chain. It's actually called Capitol Prime not Grille.
Locally owned, independent restaurant.

They should put one in where the Krispye Kreme was.

I never really understood how that place closed down.. you take one look around and it seems like a doughnut shop would be the last place that would close.NigelUno wrote:Robert J Sakimano wrote:wonder if there is a Taco Belle at the Eastwood Towne Centre?

Had a couple of meals at Capital Prime and enjoyed both. Due to my advancing years, I don't recall what I ordered, but I remember liking them. I probably got salmon or something pasta-y with a red sauce.

With the fish, I usually just take out my teeth and gum it into a mash, which it way easier to swallow than big chunks o' briny beef of the sea. With the pasta, I get the red sauce because it goes down easier with a straw. Word to the wise: Never ask for extra parm on top.

Tony Sacco's is a pretty good alternative to my usual favorite Pizza House. I like the sauce better at PH. Again, the straw...
