Camping out for Black Friday

Local news showing a dozen people camping out at an area Best Buy, some that have already been there for days. Wasting 3-4 days of your life to save a couple hundred bucks on TV you probably can't afford doesn't seem like a good investment. Do these people have jobs they've taken a vacation from? Why are people so stupid?

I just don't get it. Saw a line down the block once at midnight waiting for a store to open so they could by a game for Xbox. That's a level of fuckrd up I wasn't familiar with

Hell, I don't even like going shopping, let alone going on black Friday.

So glad I left my job in retail this past week. Fuck those people.

I think some folks camp out for the gift cards given to the first 25-50-100 in line. But why you would camp out on concrete for 24-36 hours for a $100 gift card is really dumb. You can pick up that much working 2 shits at Meijer or Target at a seasonal gig.

Plus Target, Walmart and locally Meijer are matching Amazon pricing either in store or online.

Common Sense is quite uncommon these days. Definitely prefer to do my shopping safely behind a keyboard

This. Very rare for me to go to a store when I can get pretty much anything online and delivered to my door. Has been many years since I went to a mall.
