so I'm trying to decide if I should sell this kid a waverunner
Some back story,
Kid calls outta nowhere and says he sees we have model such and such in stock. Its obvious this is a kid since I can hear his mom in the background coaching him on what to say.
So anyway, after explaining how they work, then answering some stupid questions about liability or whatever, he hands the phone to mom and she proceeds to make the financial arrangements.
Weird thing is, while I'm filling out the forms (had to go through several companies before finding one that would touch them. Apparently their a little over extended but whatever), I can hear the kid and his friends in the background playing imaginary games and stuff. "No way dude, I get to be the dolphin slayer!", "Mom, {so and so} is not being nice", and a lot of slapping sounds. Then of course the mom screams at them to shut up (and bring another gimlet I might add) , and on it goes until we get the financing to go through.
question to the board is, would you do the deal? The mom sounds like she'd let them play in traffic as long as the booze is flowing and the kid and his buds are MAYBE 14. I'm worried they're going to get themselves killed.
Opinions?

Sell him the fastest model and tell him he doesn't need insurance.

Make sure the rope is tied around your neck. That's the cool way.

I don't need a rope, I have a Malibu wake setter with a tower if I want to go tubing or wake boarding. I bought a lift for my wave runner today so I have ZERO need for a rope. You're dumb.

Fair point, I have nothing to say except I want to see it at the dealer first. I bought it over the phone and want to make sure it is the right thing.

You "bought" it over the phone you mean.
