The prosecutors are complaining, however, in this case the law and the Michigan Supreme Court ruling about it seem straight forward.

It is expected that the prosecutors will move forward under the correct process to bring indictments.

Early in my career I worked for a large water treatment company.  Customers were  industrial refineries/manufacturing plants,  hospital and municipal markets.

Anyone with basic knowledge knows water quality and characteristics are dependent on the source and anytime a wholesale switch happens like switching from a water system using Lake Huron water to Flint River the water differences are huge.  Just running 15-30-45-60-90 day corrosion tests using pre-weighted metal tags placed in a diversion pipe would have show what was going to happen.

Instead  it happened to save money so the city with state approval poisoned the water source for a city of over 75,000.  But what the hell most are poor, minority with no money to move out.

Not even to save money, it was used as the justification to build a new pipeline from Lake Huron to Flint with Sydnor's buddies getting the contracts to build it.
