Freedom of movement. They want more scoring and flow to the game but it has ended up doing the opposite. Can be unwatchable. Part of the reason why NBA is such a better product

They want more scoring. Point avg per game is up by 5. My guess that avg is up because of more free throws and free throws are boring to watch.

I watched Boston vs Indiana this week and it was awful. The NBA is better to watch but only when it's the top teams facing off.

Thanks for that, brotha. That justification makes sense on the surface... but like you said, instead of freedom of movement it turns into a free throw contest and makes an even worse product than just a game that has less stops but is lower scoring.
