If you grew up in the 70's, 80's, 90's and early 00's, then you probably grew up with a bunch of kids that fell for that trap of the hippy. Tie-dye, Bob Marley, foul odors, poor hygiene, unshaven legs (on chics), white dreads, and patchouli were the calling card of kids that hated their parents.
My question is, is this a lost art form? Are there any hippies left. Yeah, I know, there are hipsters scurrying everywhere when you flip on the lights, but I'm talking real live disgusting hippies.
Are there any left, not counting your 70 year old aunt who boinked the drummer for the dead, anywhere?

I was at golden gate park yesterday and took a stroll down Haight. If what I saw was reality there are no hippies. Just a bunch of losers tying to sling pot to every tourist that passes by.

You are correct GreenWay. 800 sq ft condos in Haight Ashbury district are going for $900K to $1.2M.

Even though Twitter/X left town along with others downsizing there’s still a shitload Apple/Google/Facebook money in people’s pockets looking to live on the east side of the bay.

Hippies with their lifestyle can’t afford to stay.
