Why can't I pick more than one? Today I cooked a western omelet, a few days ago I fried some eggs over, and last week I went scrambled. Why is there no option for toad in the hole??

I just put them in a pan and maybe flip them or whatever then put them on a piece of bread because truthfully I don't really like eggs. We've been over this before though.

I follow this recipe pretty much. If you do it right, it comes out with the same consistency of a soft boiled egg in disk form. Effing delicious

Sunny-side up is my favorite quick method but all other ways work too. Benedict is awesome, especially if made with lox. Nothing like a great omelette or frittata.

Scrambled and Omelet seem like almost the same option and I dig them both. A fried egg over easy is completely disgusting to me.

I haven't been to Denver in like 20 years.....I make a pretty mean Western Omelet though, made on for lunch on Tuesday.

To scramble eggs right you need a deep bowl, a whisk and 1-2 tablespoons of cold water and a 10" fry pan.

Normally, yes, but I'm out and I'm going to use Polish ham instead. Jalapenos, green onions, mushrooms. More like a modified Western scramble in tacos, I guess.

Have tried adding the water but don't find it necessary. Grind some sea salt into the bowl before whisking.

I use a tablespoon or two of unsalted butter in a non-stick skillet. Very low heat, mixing constantly with a silicone baking spatula until the eggs have firmed up with a proper amount of wetness still in the mix. Timing is critical getting them off the heat and plated while still glistening (then adding a little fresh cracked black pepper on top). Dry scrambled eggs, like ones often found at breakfast buffets, suck.

Have tried using a cast iron skillet but they generally don't come out as well. Cast iron holds heat so well, the window to get them off the heat in time is much smaller.
