Watching the Blackfish documentary

Heard a lot about it though. There's a bit of controversy about it possibly being misleading.

Then I read about the people who made it and some of the folks it featured and I was like   

Someone say Blackfish?

yeah, it's not real. they used a mechanical fish and stuff.

And to further **** Sea World's BS, their is a 103-year-old Orca in the pacific northwest. Sea World claims no one knows how long Orcas live, the average at Sea World is under 20 years.

Sea World got busted right after this rigging a poll in the Orlando paper about how the movie made you view Sea World, had it at like 95% favorable with around 200 votes, a dude thought it was fishy and checked everyone's IPs...all from a Sea World account. Sea World than tried to say people, on their own time, used their work email to vote and they had nothing to do with it.

Sea World has not handled the PR correctly, but they aren't the fish offenders of the world.  They do a lot of rescue and other good things.  It's not like they're out there clubbing baby seals.

**** Seaworld. I've seen some clips from the documentary, though not the whole thing, and a lot of the footage is absolutely heart-wrenching. Mother whale screaming/crying when her baby is removed from her is absolutely brutal.

it's a real "feel good story" i'd watch it back to back with the cove.
