Are tablets worth it?

Sitting on my couch one thumbing it in my phone seems more comfortable. Why a tablet?

Verizon gave me one for free two years ago. I don't even know where it is. Except it isn't even free anymore because I changed plans a few months ago and now they seem to be charging me 10 bucks a month and I can't get out of it because I am under this "free" contract. F***ers

I have a laptop Mac and one for my office desk for business. I have an Iphone for business and fucking around with the swill etc. I use that for travel. I read books still, but I'm old enough where I like to have them in my hands and turn pages. I don't need the tablet for kids, they're 19 and 15. They entertain themselves on vacations. I guess I'm thinking the bigger screen would be nicer, but if I wanted to tell OTPT he was full of shit, I couldn't lay one one side and thumb it like I can with a phone. Do you use it for the swill and shit liek that?

My neighbor loves her iPad. I never got comfortable with mine. I still prefer my phone, even though this site isn't exactly user friendly for the phone poster. My wife love her notebook, but mostly uses it for work when she's on the couch at home.

I dont' sit up on my couch, or rarely do. I don't think I can do a pad.

Yeah, I just never got comfortable with one. I'm fine with my phone or lapper. I do fat-finger more on my phone as my eyes age.

I don't think they are. There's no in between a lap top and cell phone that I actually say hey this would be nice to have.

With that said, if you got the money, AND would use it, fuck it, why not?
