It's straight party only in the OC + the zoo millage. Is this the real election? So if there are more dem tickets cast does that mean LBP might be in trouble?

I would imagine OC to be historically Pub territory but if memory serves it's been trending in the other direction.

Primaries are always straight ticket. It's not a general election.

The Detroit Zoo is really a great organization that is a leader in animal conservation and rescue. I'm happy that voters in both parties seem to be educated enough to recognize that. Do some research, it's a pretty cool place.

So I guess from a primary/party ticket standpoint, all this mattered was narrowing down the candidates within each party who will actually run in the Novemeber elections then, correct? You'll have to excuse me, I kinda hate this shit.

I'm really interested in the LBP thing. The guy has made the county solvent and attracted businesses for 30 years. Yet he's a disgusting human who refuses to try to establish a relationship with the city that I think is needed as Detroit rebounds. There's a huge risk to ousting him, but I'm also completely sick of his bullshit and rhetoric. The November elections won't be straight party for County stuff, will they? I don't imagine there's any chance he will lose if not. He will die in office.
