NBC sat on the Trump story for days

The Washington Post took five hours to get the story out. NBC had the story first, was afraid it might get them sued and excessively vetted the story with lawyers, and then got scooped in the process.

Supposedly they have much worse on tape from the apprentice. How do they justify continuing to have paid a sexual predator like this for years?? Oh that's right. Ratings.

I agree, but that is the same reason why the media is not as aligned against Trump as you claim. He is great for ratings. I am not going to dig it up - already know it - he got $2B in free air time during the primaries. He plays the media on a string and they go right along with it.

Up until Friday, the way the media was covering the election actually favored Trump. They are fixated on scandal. They talk about emails, Benghazi, Trump's inane ramblings, but they never ask the candidate's or their surrogates substantive questions about policy. The candidates get a free pass on policy. That 100% favored Trump through Friday. The more he could avoid talking about policy - because he does not have much and what he does have is not all the feasible - the more he could manipulate the electorate with slogans, blanket statements, and statements about how tremendous he is.

the game changed on Friday. That story is more than just something for the press to kick around. It's huge. If there is more coming, are they obligated to release it?

And yes they're happy that they got a train wreck to cover and the Dem elected. Win. Win. For them.

Nearly any other R nominee would be leading Hills by now with her unfavorables.
