I don't necessarily think it's either. Much like QB play it could help but neither are the problem. Lack of depth, talent and experience on the OL and DL are the problem and everything else - literally EVERYTHING - is exacerbated by it.

Lost 6 guys on the line that are getting NFL paychecks:

OL: Conklin, Clark, Allen
DL: Calhoun, Heath, LT

(Plus Evans on the DL)

We didn't have the talent or depth to replace them.

DL: Calhoun, Heath, LT

(Plus Evans on the DL)

We didn't have the talent or depth to replace them.

Sweat did not play much and I'm not sure why he gets lumped in with Evans. Evans was a huge loss.

Knox was also a very big loss. They were expecting him back and he was a 6th year guy.

Don't pretend like you're not part of the problem. You spent all offseason talking about the Hawks, the Falcons, and Publix. You were never focused on the upcoming season. You just thought you were going to logon the day of the first game and waltz your way into another Big Ten Championship Game thread.

I think I remember seeing him on the field in pass rush situations. Maybe didn't register stats. Doesn't matter, not arguing just genuinely curious if I'm losing my mind or not.
