We kayak the Au Train River 3 or 4 times a summer and the beach on Lake Superior there is sublime. A good friend of mine has a place on Au Train Lake. He is a huge bourbon aficionado.

Last time I was UP NORTH was camping at Muskallonge, maybe 2001. Superior was the warmest I'd ever experienced...was actually pleasant swimming.

Been meaning to get back up to the Keweenaw for a couple years. On my to-do list again next summer.

We do! We have some really high quality craft breweries that are getting some good recognition nationally. 2 of them have one silver medals at the World Beer Cup.
