Springsteen Playing "Thunder Road" Last Night in Philly at the Clinton Rally....

cool story: in 2000 (I think it was 2000), I was at an Al Gore rally in the plaza in front of El Azteco.. as with most political rallies, Al and Tipper were running late..

so, a dude comes out and says "VP and Mrs. Gore aren't here yet but they are on their way"...{crowd moans a little}.. and then he goes "but, they did send someone to keep you guys entertained until they get here"..

and out walks Jon Bon Jovi.. which was sweet - wasn't expecting him at all. He played 4-5 tunes.. the only one I remember was "Chimes of Freedom" which is one of my favorite Dylan songs.
