I'm down with OTPT if it's a hot dog but for a brat it's kraut, stone ground mustard, and grilled onions on a club roll for me.

There's this old Italian restaurant in Milwaukee that does a hot Italian sausage patty sandwich with house made marinara sauce and provolone cheese on house made thick cut Italian bread...Yum

Right right. This makes most sense. Hot dog load it up. Brat? Relatively load it up but not as much.

btw...most hot dog buns are complete shit. Definitely not suitable for brats or other sausage.

If you have a chance, buy hot dog buns made at Nino Salvaggio. They're awesome. Have some bite to them and can stand-up to any toppings.
