I think he would’ve done well at Indiana, they just didn’t give him time. My fear is our Fanbase is going to be a lot like Indiana’s fan base once Izzo leaves.

I’m guessing the coaches that replace Izzo’s will have a three year shelflife if they don’t win a big 10 or get to a final four the idiots will be screaming for blood.

He was at Indiana for nine seasons. I think it was a matter of consistency, but I agree that they were expecting too much (in the new landscape of college basketball). He won 27 games in year eight. It reminds me of Nebraska football.

No Final Fours. No Elite 8s. An NIT in his 9th season. I would guess they were expecting more than that.

Bobby Knoght made one final four and two elite eights in his last 8 years. None in his last 6 years.
