Powers hasn't lost a football game in two or three years and hasn't lost a basketball game in two years. I know it's only class D but these seniors are amazing.

Yeah I have black boxes all around it now and it is a slight improvement.

Buckley didn't fold when a lot of teams would have packed it in.

Great to see 2 public schools from rural MI with a total student population of about 500 between them in a the finals.

This is my favorite Saturday of the year. HS state finals and Sweet 16.
The miserable weather is a plus. Zero guilt being glued to the Tube all day.

4 of the 5 GR Christian starters were discovered on travel teams and several are on "scholarship".

But they're playing Class A which levels things considerably.

Was impressed with Tilman driving baseline and finishing with his right hand for reverse layup. Loyer has really good ball handling and a nice shot

Loyer is a friggin sniper, I met him yesterday and hes 2-3 inches shorter than me at 6'2. Friend of mine I went to the game with is the cousin of X and I shook Xs hand. I have tiny tiny hands or his hands are huge.

MHSAA always pretends to play hard ass but it's on the schools and administration to follow the rules and many don't
