2nd time watching the game, I am less impressed with Copeland... small sample and I know CMD has watched this team 1000x more than me and knows 1000x more than me but my worthless opinion likes Josiah Scott and Justin Layne. Not sure if Cope is not 100% or struggling with confidence but he's having trouble mirroring. Over the next few weeks I'll work on gifs from the game and share them with my observations. I actually believe the oline was pretty solid.

I didn't watch the whole game, but we have a lot of young talent on the DL. I don't recall them getting into the backfield with ease.

Odd that Coach D said that Layne only spent the first 4 practices at DB. We can all speculate on reasons why that might be but if he's focused more on offense and Copeland can't get his shit together it weakens an already thin secondary a great deal.

I think Raequan is going to be a beast. He was playing really well at the end of the year last year. Looks like the progression is continuing.

I don't think they have your vision. It's like watching Favre. One play he was great, the next he sucked. Also: COVER TWO!

Good observations. Copeland has me worried. A couple guys on tRCMB swear he's hurt but if he is, then why was he playing? 15 other guys didn't play for various reasons and most were indeed hurt.

I think Copeland has lost confidence after his bad neck injury a couple years ago and just hasn't been the same since. Jackson smoked him a couple times yesterday and then, poof he just didn't come back. CB and Safety are a huge concern IMO.

I tend to agree with you, but then again I thought we looked GREAT in last season's spring game. Look how that turned out.

I hate that it's probably true too. Did you see the look on his face yesterday after Jackson beat him for that long completion on the sideline? Just totally lacking confidence and questioning most everything. I've been there and done that on the football field and it's a shitty, empty feeling. Hope to hell he can get his mojo back but at this point just don't know.

This is a great example of why we have needed lights in the stadium. Shadows fuck up the tv cameras. During big plays, there's not enough time for the iris to adjust. If we don't use the lights during day games to eliminate these fuckers, Imma be pissed.

I was traveling across the vast emptiness of the UP, then crossing the MAC into Up Northlands and finally back to Bobby Sak territory on Saturday; so I missed the G&W game. But I did record the B1G network broadcast, so my question for tSwill is it a complete waste of my time to watch it, or is an incomplete waste of my time and I should view it just for the beauty of a B1G broadcast?

Depends how big of a football nerd you are. I enjoyed rewatching it but I didn't get to pay much attention at the game itself.
