Why does Trump target CNN?

As another poster stated elsewhere, CNN is not at the top of cable news ratings. Plus CNN has several Trump surrogates on their payroll who featured on the network daily, and they rarely originate stories about collusion. It seems like most of the stories that CNN runs about Trump and Russia originate in the pages of the WSJ, NYT, or Washington Post. If Trump wanted to seriously attack his "enemies" in the press, is CNN really the right target?

Because until fairly recently that was fox news' biggest competitor, so Fox News targets CNN. Since Fox News targets CNN, the president targets CNN since the president is little more than an old racist rich guy who spends all his time watching cable news and getting riled up about it.

Because Trump thinks Jeff Zucker (a jew) owes him for the apprentice when it was on NBC and Zucker was there. Trumps demands loyalty and though CNN under Zucker would be pro Trump. Trump demands loyalty. plus Bannon is an anti semite. so theres that.

Donald Trump Jr. said in a statement to CNN that the meeting was set up by an acquaintance he knew from the 2013 Miss Universe pageant, which was held in a suburb of Moscow. His statement said he was not given the person's name beforehand. CNN has confirmed the Russian lawyer he met with is Natalia Veselnitskaya.

Why is he issuing statements to a network that trafficks in fake news? They will bend and twist his statement. Why would he do that? Oh, he needs them right now. Got it. Makes sense.

These people are in charge, and they have followers.

The problem with CNN isn't that it's fake news as goose would have you believe. It's that they love the drama and want the ratings as a result. Case in point- continuing to interview that lying sack of shit.

Travis, I am responding to your CNN post here. You are right. CNN is disgusting not because it purposely manufactures stories as the president suggests, but because of how they cover the news.

Also, Wolf Blitzer is boring and dramatic, and Chris Cuomo is dumb. He is "the jock that read a book and thinks he is smart but is actually really dumb" kind of dumb.
