I listened to Pacific Gas & Electric, but Spotify didn't have the whole album. I kinda like that 70s funk/rock. I might go on a bender of that soon.

Exile was 1972 and yes it was the best by them.
Low Spark was 1971 and great album
Cream was done before the 70s started
I loved Pretzel Logic (1974) and almost put Aja in there at 1977 but Lamb and Aim are better in my opinion.

Collin Cripps of Blue Rodeo also was married to Kathleen Edwards for a bit.. massive talent and quite nice to look at, as well.

Have you ever been into older Fleetwood Mac? Like Bare Trees with Bob Welch, or the original group with Peter Green, (pre 1970) hard to believe they kept the same name, totally different bands.

no but I should probably dig a bit more into the older Fleetwood Mac stuff.. my parents listened to them a lot when I was a kid (70's) so I'm mainly familiar with that era..

We've been following Blue Rodeo for ages. We were in Ireland playing golf and met Jim Cuddy in the streets of some small town I don't even remember the name of. He processed the restraining order after that.

The first three Cheap Trick albums are among some of the best U.S. rock albums ever made. Unfortunately, it went downhill from there. That is a terrific album.  I was going to recommend it.  Just about any Talking Heads from that era is good too.

I saw them at the Royal Oak Music Theater shortly after the Heaven Tonight release. Greate show. I seem to remember Rick Nielsen had about dozen cigarettes going at once on stage, most of them stuck in his guitar strings.
