I lived in LaPorte for a year and a half. It was terrible. Made a lot of trips to Valparaiso, Michigan City, and Portage throughout my time there.

I had a great friend that grew up in LaPorte. His ongoing schtick was that he played tight end for the Packers, used that in 100s of bars over the years with limited success. Want to read his obituary so you can know him too?
