Clayton Kershaw took Steve Marriuchi to prom his senior year.

It means nothing relative to him announcing our game. Unless you think that donut was cool.
And I thought you couldn't watch the game.
It’s impossible to seperate the Grateful Dead from Bill Walton.
Also, I think there’s a lot of parallels between the harsh critics of the Grateful Dead and Bill Walton:. The haters are uptight, angry, dismissive, judgemental about drug use and completely ignorant of the talent on display.
Would I rather chat with Bill Walton for a couple of hours instead of Jay Bilas or Dick Vitale? Sure.
But...I wouldn't want to do it while I'm watching MSU play basketball.

Fair enough, the majority of the comments against him are ‘he’s so high right now’ they make it sound like it’s a bunch of gibberish he’s spewing out. He’s well read and got into Stanford Law School. He said a bunch of positive things about Michigan State last night that lead me to believe he’s actually really well informed about MSU and it’s rich history. You’d never hear Jay Bilas or Dakich outline Steve Smiths donations to MSU or the impact MSU had on integration in college sports.
I get it that Walton isn’t for everyone but there’s far more substance in his announcing than his harsh critics will let you believe.
This is a pretty solid answer. Walton isn't everyone's cuppa but you can tell he puts in the homework before he does a game and I respect that.
I actually don’t think moments like that are prepared, I think it’s pretty off the cuff and just who he is. I remember watching the Spurs win a title and during the celebration Walton was talking about Smith and Willis winning their first rings and what a storied program Michigan State was. He came off like he had a genuine and deep respect for MSU.

So what was the logic that went into the MSU/UNC came being played before Florida Dook? I mean I am glad they showed it when they did, easier to watch and not have to stay up until 2am. But just seemed weird we played after Dook all weekend until last night.
Great win. My anus always tightens up when we play UNC. Glad to see a big win last night.

Anytime you have a question about the reasons why the NCAA did something lws the answer to your question is to get more money. In this case they probably felt that they’d have more viewers if they put us first and duke second and they were probably right.

You're so young to be so cynical.
But you're right.

I hate the NCAA. They are the ISIS of college sports.
