Last night I unwittingly watched a Christian movie called "Priceless"

Post by gHost Spartan on 2018-01-14, 08:13

 ________

Tired, just wanted to watch something mindless and, frustrated by indecision, I selected the above-referenced film and started watching... in a nutshell, a widower loses his child to the maternal grandmother and, desperate for money, he agrees to drive a U-Haul truck across the country for a large sum of money on the condition that there's no drugs in the vehicle. Along the way, he looks in the cargo area of the truck and discovers these two hot Hispanic chicks, sisters. Long story short he delivers them to a human trafficker (after falling in love with one of the sisters) and then has to "save" them -

He meets an old guy who is willing to help out. I do not want to include spoilers but if you've read the basic parts of the Bible then you know what happens.

I started to realize that something was fishy when there was no nudity or real violence. Then I looked online and read about it. Even though it was late I stayed up and watched until the end.

Bee probably owns the DVD

Can't have a good film without them.

I unwittingly ate liver one time. My ex mil disguised it by breading it. I wasn't too happy with her about that.

We only watch christian movies in our house.

It's one of our favorite pastimes. Right up there with mocking poor people, taking away their healthcare, defunding their education, putting an end to all forms of social assistance, making sure they have enough guns to kill each other with... then lamenting about how/why they become so violent.

But they are in our thoughts and prayers.

Praise him.

Nope, might hit that website once every 6 months or so. Also that story was debunked as untrue. The church was never closed, Houston didn't ask them to take refugees. Once they were needed they did....there were multiple stories about that. But as usual the lie travels around the world many times before the truth arrives.

But if you're going to link to Breitbart you sorta accept the bullshit as truth.

Snopes - read the whole thing

I can't imagine fine 'christians' being so selfish and absent of compassion.

sure as heck wouldn't be found in a church.

Ran on the trails. There were some ice fishing shacks up. Was out on the lake last Sunday before hitting up The Mayfair.

The "unwitting" gave it away?

If you were watching South Flint Tabernacle with me you'd know the real miracle of the day was the saving of the Muslims in Vienna.....but you go ahead and remain willfully ignorant.
