Baptist Church removes Jesus statue: "It's too Catholic"

You can't make this stuff up. It's been there a decade, but now that we've created an America which classifies and separates, well, it has empowered those in the congregation to speak up about this jesus looking character. Too Catholic. But hey, if it's a statue of a terrorist who defied our constitution, who made war against our country, who tried to start their own country of segragation and slavery, who were traitors to our nation, please don't touch those statues.

"A Baptist church’s congregation has voted to remove a statue of Jesus Christ because some believe it’s too “Catholic” for their place of worship."

"The art has been displayed in the church for a decade, but the pastor told the artist it’s being taken down this week. The letter says some in the congregation believe the image of Christ standing with his arms outstretched is “Catholic in nature.”
