Finally just watched it. Intense game, great stuff. Going to have to try to avoid the England-Croatia score tomorrow so I can watch with my full attention again.

The whining from some Belgian players about France playing defensively make them seem like a bunch of bitches, though. "How dare the other team not play the way that we want them to in order to allow us to maximize our strengths." Really? What's next, complaining that they started their best players? Yeah, it isn't the most open style, and yes Deschamps holds that team back, but it's the fucking World Cup semi final. The point is to win.

I sorta watched the games on Saturday. It's not particularly my cup of tea but it was a good thing to have on while I rode the bike and/or napped. Fam was gone so it was good chill fodder. Why the hell would they not have run the 2nd semifinal on Sunday? Instead they wait until Tuesday? Lame.

I will watch the final if I can. My colleague/counterpart is a Brit and he's going batshit insane so I would like to see them win for him.

Quarterfinals were Fri/Sat. Sun/Mon were rest days. Semis Tue/Wed. Sat/Sun are the consolation and finals matches. But yeah...they probably could of done the quarters Sat/Sun.

Great game today. France had a bit more strategy going as Miami noted. Bittersweat outcome as both teams have been fun to watch, but someone had to lose. A bit anti-climatic with a 1 goal game, but I'm nitpicking.

I suck at predictions, so I won't even try to get one.

England are playing well and having fun, but they have had an easy road. Croatia were awesome in the group stages but aren't playing as well now as they had been, having needed penalties to win their last two matches against inferior teams. Both teams have game changers. England probably has more talent top to bottom. But Croatia have players with more big game experience. Tough to call.

I hate England fans, but England has my 2 favorite players (Lingard and Rashford), so while I'm conflicted, I'm trying to choose love over hate, and therefore hope England wins.

I watch soccer.. I certainly enjoy it most of the time..

but on Sunday, Lawson Craddock crashed in the Tour de France.. needed 16 stitches above his eye, broke his shoulder blade.. finished the stage....
