Neighbor has a diesel tractor/snowplow and just came and cleared my driveway. I gave him a bottle of maple syrup I made last spring. He's happy, I'm happy.

About an hour after the salt truck went through our pitifully small front parking lot this morning. Rest of the office parking is an 1/8 to 1/4 mile away behind the office.

Shoveled 4-5 inches this evening while sipping whiskey. Alarm set for 4:45 AM. Gonna run, then shovel some more.

You're obviously way out of the loop. We get along pretty well now. Same with the Dodge/Jeep/Ram folks. We no longer look down on each other for choice of vehicle.

With the Chinese now owning our company (and sucking intelligence of the industry), the only fear is parking a Japanese or Korean car in our lot.

However, the nearby Ford axle plant still has a Ford-only parking lot.

21 degrees, light snow and icy MF'n roads. I almost hit the back of a school bus when my brakes locked up, even though I thought I had given myself a safe distance.

If I drank, a craft beer would be a perfect compliment while shoveling. Since I do not drink, I also do not intend to shovel.

shout out to the City of East Lansing for having the Northern Tier Trail clear from snow and ice. Started out with my microspike traction things on my shoes, as I figured it would be solid ice. Ended up stopping to take them off.
