Guessing you're staying at South Seas Resort.  What restaurant for dinner?

Cantina Captiva use to be fine dining and called something else I forget.  Just across Wightman was another fine dining place that was part modern art museum.  Both of the places had excellent food.

Yeah we are at South Seas. This is a great vacation for kids. Really happy with the choice. Probably will come back. Some minor complaints with the resort but very nit picky. We ate at Mucky duck tonight. It was good to quite good. On to the beach party.

Stayed there twice back when it was South Seas Plantation, both anniversary getaways without the kids. Loved the place and wanted to take the kids there one day...didn't work out. Stayed in the condos on the southwest side of the complex. Beautiful beach.

Had no gripes about the place except accidentally left my wallet in a golf cart playing the course there. Didn't realize until maybe an hour later. Wallet was never returned. Was a pain in the ass getting enough personal information together to be able to get back on the plane to Detroit.

It’s really more about me pouting and protesting having to take the extra step of opening a free storage account just to post a picture. It was so easy on TOB. But yes, there’s no doubt that some of the tech out there has left me feeling like a dinosaur.

Plenty of time to get back to Detroit before Monday. Spend an extra day at Captiva. Go check out the wildlife refuge on Sanibel. Hit a better restaurant than Mucky Duck.

We've been here 4 days. Had a blast. Done a ton of things. Parasailing, dolphin cruises, fishing, beach time, wildlife hunting, exploring. Time to go home. Hitting Ruby Falls Saturday morning. Back on Saturday night. Basketball hoop going up Sunday. Whoop whoop.

Captiva is pretty cool. Had a blast there. Fucked the wyff out in the water in broad daylight and on the beach at night.

That’s some inspirational shit, wbh. This year has been hectic over here with our jobs and the wife and I haven’t put together our vacation yet. Was roughly thinking a good road trip up to Montreal, over to Quebec City, head down through Maine and on back. I don’t know though a trip to the beach with some boozing looks perfect. Cheers man, and enjoy the drive back.

Looks like a great time, WBH. Love it over there. Very cool that the manatees were right there. When we were there a few years ago, we didn't see any manatees in the marinas, despite workers saying that they were usually easy to find. But then there was one at the beach. Weird, as that's not common to see them in the more open ocean. And there was a goliath grouper that would live under the fishing dock (on the north east side of the resort). The dock had a light that shone down into the water, and you could see him just sitting there every night. Jebus, that's a big ass fish.

Taking my daughter parasailing today. Not a particularly big fan of heights. But for the kids. If you don't here from me it means the cord broke and I'm dead.

Should I start drinking now?
