Yeah. I mean I love it, and I'm not going to go as far as accusing him of self promotion. I think he's trying to help. But that passage is less than 1 meter in some places and under water. I'm skeptical that he can come up with a solution that works. But I hope he can.

I hope they're taking the weakest kids first. Water levels are the lowest they've been and there is rain on the way. Basically it's now or never. I thought I read they are taking one boy at a time to a certain place, once they get to that shot they can walk out or go on stretcher.

So, the parents still aren't notified if their child has been rescued or not. There are 4 left and since there are no details about the other 8 that have been rescued, who knows what condition the remaining survivors are in. The adult might be the 'toughest' but the divers still have to get through the same passages, so if they can't fit, they can't get out either.

I read the adult was in the 1st group, which I found odd. He should be last. I'd also be a little scared if I where him. The locals might lynch his ass for taking those boys in there. Or present him with a bill for the rescue effort.

it sort of seems like time is essential here.. do they go by which kid will help them most this upcoming season on the soccer pitch? Maybe which kid's parents supplies the most orange slices after matches??

I don't think the coach is going to get into any type of problems. They went to the cave to carve their names into part of it, or right their names or something, which is a tradition. While in the entrance to the cave, a storm formed and caused a flash flood and blocked the entrance. They kept moving through the caves to escape the water until they ended up wherever they were found.
Of course I'm getting a lot of my info off of Reddit, so take it with a grain of salt.

From all of the accounts I have read, the coach remains in the cave.

Again from I have read- initially they wanted to take the strongest kids out first as they had the best chance of survival and they aren't exactly assured of success. The first four were the best able to complete the journey.

They apparently reversed course based their first experience and the advice of the doctors and the second group of four included those in the poorest health.

I also read that they had a hard time finding diving equipment for the two smallest kids.

According this, 8 boys are out. 4 and the coach are still in the cave waiting to be rescued.

Divers rescue more boys from flooded Thailand cave, raising total saved to eight, while four boys and coach remain trapped

Monday’s rescue left the remaining four boys and their coach underground for another night... Narongsak did not say whether the weakest or strongest boys were brought out first, although the decision was made by a doctor who assessed the boys Saturday.

The operation to get everyone out started earlier than expected. With rain on the way and oxygen levels going down, they decided to go the route they really didn't want to go, and move quickly. Elon Musk and his team, or whoever it was, was making the sub, why would they stop? You still take it there, even if it won't be used, because anything can happen and maybe they find a way that it becomes useful, best case scenario, they don't need it and everyone survives.

I think he was the only one. I didn't see Buffett or Gates, or El Chapo, or Zuckerburg rushing out there. There were a lot of people who helped to contribute. I guess I just don't see the bad in it. In the end, he didn't really help, but was there to help. I'm missing what's wrong with that, unless he sends the kids a bill. While funny, that would be kinda fucked up.
