He will get convicted and pardoned in the same day... thereby forcing the next dem majority to debate changing the constitution to remove the "presidential pardon" section.

That's an interesting scenario, but the president doesn't have to wait for a conviction to use his pardon power. Ford granted a block pardon to Nixon for any crimes he "may have" committed against the United States.

What a fucking shitshow that was.

Also, the president has been distancing himself from Manafort as much as he can, which doesn't seem to indicate a pardon is in the works. Manafort may think so, but it would be suicide for the president.

Manafort has been a DC insider / operator for decades.

The fix is in and if convicted, he’ll be pardoned after the mid terms, before Christmas.

I’m thinking more along the lines of his likeliness to get a pardon himself when the Mueller report comes out. Trump will either step down and be pardoned by Pence or fight and get impeached. If he gets impeached, the amount of information on illegal shit he did prior to being president will put him in prison. Manafort hasn’t flipped because he hasn’t been offered a deal. They have what they need.

I've been pretty pessimistic about a lot of this but it's refreshing to see "good" outweigh "evil" for a brief moment in recent American history.

I think the Cohen thing is a much bigger story though.

But as so as the SCOTUS gets Roe v Wade reversed its all worth it.  There is no price to large to pay for you to see women controlled.
