According to Comp, it's established fact that, even if it was agreed that UM could have the field at 10, as UM people claim, that the UM players were already out there prior to 10.

Also, why wasn't the whole UM team out there if we were so late and cutting into practice time? Just their most volatile shit-stirrer, along with 2 or 3 in-state guys? What a coincidence!

Jim Harbaugh was starting to soften on me, opinion-wise. After that game, driving home and hearing the shit he said on ESPN Radio's College Football roundabout, my blood boils now more than ever for my hatred of Michigan.

This is the same dickhead who fucked with Pete Carroll, and back-slapped Jim Schwartz after going "WOOO" in his face Ric Flair style.

Harbaugh cannot win with class, he is a sore loser and a really bad winner.

Fuck him and fuck that program, my hatred is completely back to the level it was after the 2007 game.

The team walks by our tailgate 2 hours before game time on the fucking nose every home game. I didn't check my watch, but that would of been 10am. I had no indication they were late. And they were in their helmets. They walk to the stadium, through the tunnel and do their field walk...every game...same time. No way anyone told Mich they would be done by 10am.

That said, both sides knew exactly what they were doing once MSU took the field and neither was going to back down. I actually love it. Michigan finally got pissed and played the disrepekt card. I'm just pissed that it worked and may be a turning point for them.

I went back and found my post with a pic of the team walking. Check the timestamp. They were right on time.

Zero chance they were given that time.

As has been well documented by Harns, Comp and any other honest beat writer, they start the walk 2 hours and 15 minutes before kickoff from Kellogg on the nose. Every home game. So 9:45 for noon games.

I see his and your point but I think I'm going in a different direction with it. I'm rooting for better sportsmanship. Maybe for pro sports this is fine, but this is college, these are world class institutions and I think they should do better. I also don't buy Jim's BS on the whole thing.

I did agree with Valenti's take that this is all really stupid. It sure is but I can't look away.

Yes did see that. I mean Harbaugh is playing a game at this point. He doesn't really believe it was some bush league demonstration by MSU. Unless he's dumb... Which I don't think he is. I think they’re miscalculating here. The disrespect comes from sources other than Michigan. The chip is there because bowls choose them over us after we kick their ass and have a better record. The magazines who constantly make us earn our keep while giving Michigan a pass and a “wait till next fall” type of hype from all the media. This shit doesn’t make Michigan disrespected, it makes them assholes. It just adds an anger chip on Dantonios shoulder. Fuck Jim Harbaugh he’s a liar and a shitty coach.

I was just thinking more about this as it pertains to my theory above that Harbs knows what he's doing and is doing it with purposeful intent.

Given the timeline and what we know about MSU's schedule, etc.....is it possible, even a little bit....that this whole thing was set up and orchestrated by Harbaugh to create some motivation and a sense of purpose going forward in their season and especially in regards to the rivalry? I mean you have the confrontation, you win, great. You lose, it's something to help motivate your team in the future. I doubt he would have told Bush to do what he did, but the fact that he also has basically supported him for vandalizing our field has to make you wonder about the lead up....

Am I diving too deep into the conspiracy waters with this one? I mean think about how he's handling this and the things he's saying. He knows what happened. He is purposefully driving this issue into the ground. It's not a very big issue. It's kind of silly. But he's harping on it. Why?

Seems a better chance that he's just a petulant little bitch, who will use the kind of bully pulpit that he has to hammer home UM's victim status. Kind of like a kid that starts a fight at school, but is a teacher's son, so everyone believes that the other kid had been bullying him.

Agreed. It’s just him rubbing MSU’s face in it and being a total douche. It’s about exerting power over MSU and enraging us. His fan base loves it so why stop now?
