not to take it down "that path" but, unfortunately, what's going on with this and the way it's being covered mirrors what's going on in almost every aspect of American society right now.

he said/he said, "fake news", distortions for the sake of distortion-sake, the media loves a good soap opera, well if this equals that than that must equal this, no this didn't happen (when everyone knows it did), you're eyes are lying to your brain, don't believe what you see, etc.

luckily this is only football but it seems symptomatic of our culture as a whole.

Honestly, I think this was a case of a situation taking place that involved SCum in which he wasn't directly involved and he felt the need to make it about him. His ego can't help itself. Look at him going to SCum basketball games.He can't just sit there and watch. He has to sit courtside, lean in, overtly munch on pizza so the camera can catch him doing it. Also never lose sight of the trouble with the snap game. HE KNOWS that loss was 100% on him for the formation and people he had on the field. "My play calling isn't the reason for our offensive struggles". It's always about him.......unless its about him. Then blame others. He can't help himself. He literally couldn't stand it when MSU was getting BAD press and took a shot at Dantonio over a 3-9 team that turned it around and won 10 games. He's a psychopath.

The media loves a good circus/spectacle albeit a porn star and her lawyer talking about the president or a football coach acting like a jack ass.

Would you say anything besides what you've already said if you're Dantonio?

My only reaction would be silence if I was asked about it. Silence for 11 1/2 months. I'd just stare at a person asking me the question for like 20 seconds, then say "next queestion. Let the world know what's going to happen next fall.

he's handling it perfectly, especially so since given the way Harbaugh and local (Michigan) media are trying to bait him into some melodrama.

As you know, D has been around the block and he has bigger issues to deal with that doesn't involve some back and forth with a "look at me" idiot who behaves as if he drank lead-based paint as a child.

Some MSU programmer dude needs to make a video game of a scUm recruit, hell recruits. You can include a timeline over who plays and who transfers. The possibilities are endless.
