Michigan ranks dead last in the nation in school funding growth in the quarter century since Michigan radically changed how it funded public education system, according to a new Michigan State University study.
School funding has dropped 18 percent since 1995 when spending is adjusted for inflation, according to the report. Only one other state, West Virginia, had a decrease in inflation-adjusted spending in that time.
Michigan cut funding and test score dropped. Devos destroyed public education job well done Betsy.

Here's the deal. There is a radio interview from the 90's of Devos and her husband. They're lamenting the fact that the church was not the center of the community in many towns in Michigan, but the public school had become the town gathering place, recreating place, and social place. If you don't believe they had something to do with the slow dismantling of the public school, I have a bridge to sell you. Job well done by Betsy and her christian husband.
