Sad to see that people on this board have to make their own food. Just goes to show that the stories about the economy are BS. We still have people making their own breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Never thought I would see the day where that was common practice.

This pre-cheese idea is on the same level of when Pizza Hut tried putting some cheese in the crust. It's like cool it with all this extra cheese business.

Never understood this bacon craze. I eat maybe a total of 4-5 pieces of bacon a year. I've gone years without eating any bacon and didn't miss it. Too many nitrates. Also, cheese is terrible for your cholesterol. I use it sparingly.

Not only do I pre-cheese, I also microwave them for 20 seconds to make sure the cheese is fully melted.

I'm usually last to eat in our house because I cook for taco night so I feed the wife and kids first. So by the time I get to mine the meat isn't always hot enough to melt the pre-cheese.

It’s the accoutrement to the official thread, Turtleneck.

So I finally pre-cheesed. I put my high end tortilla in the skillet heated one side and then I flipped it and grated some cheddar onto the other side. Waited a little bit for some melt and then took it out. Put my toppings on and then sprinkled on some cotija cheese. So I had a two cheese taco. My second taco was traditional.

I have to say there is something to this pre-cheesing the taco was delicious but when I was eating my second taco I didn't really miss the pre-cheesing. To sum up I think it's delicious but I think the taco is delicious anyway and the improvement is slim to almost non-existent. I don't see my self pre-cheesing again in the future but who knows.
