I'd like to thank WBH for pissing off LWS.

I just wanted the hat. I didn't even know there were tools and shit I had to learn. The hat wasn't that great either. But I'd like to thank Travis for not sending anything else to "the basket". Because I think some of us still don't know where the basket is.

Seriously, here's my real honest to goodness moderator take.

Being an old coach and an old athletic director, I always thought the best A.D.'s are the ones who you know nothing about. Can't pick them out of a crowd, don't know who they are at your high school. But, everything is always running, on time and organized. Refs are there, bus is there, equipment is taken care of, workers at the game, score keepers. Fans file in, they file out. PLayers go to practice and have their shit there waiting and it's collected and cared for after. Anything short of that, the AD is fucking up somewhere some how. There are times when some asshole fan or upset player causes something that has to be dealt with, but again, few and far between and if it happens you deal with it in as much of a private way as you can and move on while keeping your mouth shut about it to everyone else.

I really dont' think the Mods on the RCMB are like that. And while I'm not as obsessed with them as some on here, I get it. When they want you to know who they are and what they do, they're huge fuck ups in my book. When they ban people cause they can they're huge fuck ups. They become like T.V. Teddy and don't realize they are.

As far as trying to mod something as big as Facebook, screw that.

I agree with you on the AD thing. When you have absolutely no idea who they are, it means they're doing their job effectively.

That said, I honestly have no idea who the mods are here... but that's probably just me not paying attention to things.. it's one of my more positive attributes.

The only things I worry about moderating are my German Shepherds. Anyone want to watch a couple of nut jobs for a few days? They're from working lines and are extra crazy, but neither has a Facebook account.

That article was weird. At one point it implied the earth is not flat. What kind of nonsense is that? Are they saying it’s round or something? Round Earthers sounds like some weird fringe society.
