What I really don’t get is why, if we win, are guaranteed a rematch in the second round. Then we might have to play another big ten team in the third round and it wouldn’t even be a huge upset for that to happen. Why? The only other potential big ten rematch is if Iowa pulls off multiple unlikely upsets. I think the whole committee thing that espn wants you drooling over and analyzing so they get clicks is all just jerk off bullshit and it means nothing

This. It is what is is. I’m all in. This team has done more than anyone could’ve expected them to, given the impact of the injuries and youth on the bench. But X and Henry have stepped up in a big way and gotten the minutes that will help in the postseason. Keep Cash healthy and we can compete. Will it be enough to go all the way? Who the fuck knows, but this team is well blended and rarely gives up against anyone. Regardless, only one team leaves the tournament happy. Everyone else goes home disappointed.

We got fucked and everyone agrees. Go read Reddit, watch ESPN. No one understands our ranking with duke. The committee fucked up big time. We can go rah rah, we're MSU, anyone anytime, but the reality is that the elite eight is probably our ceiling this year. We're probably a final four team in any other bracket and we love to brag about Izzo in March and 7 final fours. This year we're effectively fucked for as multitude of reasons, but we got zero favors from the committee, unlike most other teams.
