Boston has 6 assistant coaches and I assume the others are training staff/Doctors.

Probably right but man back in the day there was always Daly, Malone, Versace and Abdenour and the players. I watched Mavs vs Clippers last night and I saw all sorts of people dressed in casual clothes and I couldn't tell what their role was. The times have changed.

Also, saw Trey Burke he looked quick and was scoring in the 3rd to bring Dallas back into it. He stunk it up in crunch time and that made me happy.

Burke is essentially a Covid replacement player. He was at the top of the unsigned FA list along with fellow former Wolvie J Crossover. First game he was lights out and put up 31.

What's your take on the covid Florida games in the bubble? I've only watched one game and happy to get back into it. I think their presentation is really good and I think they've done a great job. I like all the video fans and the visuals of the arena without actual fans is done really well.

I mean I'm not sure in what regard you're asking, but the NBA has done an A+++ job. It's a little weird with no fans, sure, but they are staging this in one of the 2-3 biggest hot spots in the WORLD and they haven't had a positive test in 3 weeks. As I mentioned earlier in this thread or maybe another one, they seemingly have made it fun, and safe. And yeah I love Disney, a lot of fun memories there and I fully comprehend how dedicated to details they are in general, so I think it's a perfect fit.

As far as the competition? It has been unbelievable. Some games the refs are too touchy with the whistles. But there have been very few runaway games. Most are competitive in the 4th. That may drop off for the rest of the seeding games as stakes are not going to be as high once teams have clinched their slots. But we're only a week or so away from the seeding games being done.

I expect that the playoffs will be a lot more volatile than usual. If the Blazers are able to secure the 8 seed by beating the Grizzlies twice in the 'play in' games, I think they might give the Lakers a run for their money. Nothing else is certain. I mean the Clips are slated to play Dallas with Doncic and Porzingis in the first round. Neutral site. That's ridiculous. Yeah the Bucks will beat the Magic and the Raptors will beat the Nets. But everything is wide freaking open other than that.

I love it.

Crazy how good Doncic can be at 21 without being an athletic freak. I mean he's kind a chunky. This kid might be a GOAT candidate by the time it's all said and done.

The NBA is ridiculous, there are so so many great exciting players, young and old. Best league out there.

What do they even need? Other than to mature a bit?

They have 2 guys with superstar skills in KP and Luka. And they have the dead eye shooter in Seth Curry.

I guess they need some D.

Yeah this too. Carlisle is a great coach for that. I'd say a rim protector on d that's a rebounder. One has to assumes Luka's jumper will continue to get better. They stole Porzingas
