Supposedly Izzo’s retirement timetable
For what it’s worth.
Three years, give or take.

We are supposed to take the word of Paul Davis? When is the last time he was sighted in EL?

I mean, you certainly don’t have to. But if somebody was to ask me how much longer will Izzo stay, I’d say “three years give or take”.
We all could say “”I don’t know”. But if I were to guess, that would be it
What’s your guess?

Paul Davis is Tieman's partner in crime on a lot of the radio broadcasts. I think he's around the program.

I’d guess 4. If it’s earlier than that, I’d guess it would mean he’d retired after winning a Championship.

I'd say flip a coin. There's that take and then Draymond Green stated it would be Dwane. Dwane played for MSU, he can recruit and supposedly a lot of the D we run is from him. I could see it being either or.

Seriously? I’ve only heard Matt. But aw hell why not hire the guy who sounds like he got a half hour’s sleep after a night of drinking Grape Melatonin Daquiris.

Nate Oates would be sweet good. Local and Midwest connections. Modernized offense. Two successful stops. Would be about 50.

We need it. The days of running sets needs to go. I don’t have the vocabulary for it but I see so many teams in the tournament just running loose with more motion and great ball movement.

Re: Supposedly Izzo’s retirement timetable
Put me down for the people that are against grabbing a flavor of the month for your new coach. A coach can get hot in a six game tournament and every big time program that’s down wants him. Usually on a one year resume with a sample size of four games as an underdog. How is Texas doing? Plenty more examples. Then there’s Izzo. Msu knew his work ethic and attitude. Beilein. Did great. Work ethic and attitude.
Put Izzo in charge of his replacement. Get out of his way and let him have the first at bat.

I always figured he would be done by now or retire after Steven kisses the logo. Not so much anymore. My guess is 5 more years unless he wins a natty before that.

Well, I think I heard him say, regarding retirement, that he wouldn't know what to do with himself, so no plans. Maybe that was someone else?
My guess is when he is physically or mentally no longer able is when he will retire.
