Yeah, I think the only way that self driving cars work is if they either have their own roads or everybody is forced to get them. Can’t predict the stupidity of people.

Bumper hitching was fun as fuck. When conditions were right we'd tow each other around the sub.

Agree. I love to drive. But I also like the idea of being able to check emails on my way to work or take a nap on the way home. I want this technology to work so I can do both.

The option to not drive may be there in 15 years, but people will still drive.  My boys are mid 20's and one is really into cars.  Sometimes has scared the hell out of me (took me for a ride in a Mustang GT500 that had been tuned to 800hp at the wheels) but he's a pretty good driver and loves the thrill of high performance vehicles...the adrenaline rush.  Doubt he'll ride in a johnny cab often the rest of his life unless the libs manage to pass laws making driving illegal.

He took a test drive at Lamborghini when he was 19.  Watch full screen and pay attention to the speedo near the upper right inside the steering wheel.  He's hooked on performance cars.
