And why the heck didn’t you schedule your procedure for first thing in the morning? Prep all night, get pegged, then eating and sleeping before 10:30am. It’s the only way go (although that prep proves there’s many ways to go).

IDK about Bob’s doc, but I don’t think pain meds are given out after a colonoscopy, especially these days. He might’ve gotten something to relax before the fisting.

I did. It's tomorrow morning.. prep today which means no solid food or much of anything since dinner last night.

chicken broth makes me nauseous so I've been eating jello and drinking white grape juice diluted (heavily) with water. Now some coffee.

Back in undergrad at msu, I would work at Beaumont hospital on weekends/summer. I delivered patients their food. I seriously had patients throw shit at them for “bringing another clear liquid tray”, and I had a patient pull their IV out and come after me with it. All because of clear liquids. I should have said... ok, I will just make you NPO (not allowed to eat anything)
