$500 and a new truck for a Month.

That's right bitches! when you're semi retired, just pushing company paper and have time on your hands, you read the little piddley shit companies send to you. So, this summer GM axed me how my Silverado was doin. Axed if I'd send in particulars, milage, any major repairs, anything like that. Cause they're doing a study on emissions down in milford and they need 100 or so used Trucks for a month. I sent it in and they questionaire said they'd get back to anyone who filled it out. I forgot about it. Today they called. They're dropping a new Truck off to my house next Wednesday morning taking mine to Milford keeping it for 3 or 4 weeks, testing emissions and when they bring it back, they're giving me 500 bucks.

I feel like the guy in Christmas story. I never win anything and I feel like this is kind of a win. I know I'm gonna want the new Truck and will be bummed after they deliver my 2015 with 116K on it back to me, and it's probably their idea that that will happen too. But Hey, I get a new truck for a month and 500 bucks for my "troubles".

This gets better, when I called them back with my insurance policy, the lady told me I need to have little to no gas in it wednesday.  "if it's not enough to get to Milford, those guys will worry about it" and The truck they're sending me will be full when they deliver it.   Then, when I get my truck back ,it will be full.  . That's another 100 bucks I figure.  Lucky day boys, I feel giddy. The lady said "I could drive the wheels off the truck they drop off" No milage limit

Hmmm....sex movies and trucks.  Reminds me of when I traded in my Jeep for a truck.  

Back when the wife unit and I bought a cabin, one of the only possessions left behind by the previous owners was a porn DVD.  My buddy and I immediately put the DVD in my Jeep to see if the porn was any good.  Well, it was good, so I left the DVD in the Jeep's entertainment center since I don't use CDs.  

When I traded the Jeep for the truck, I figured I must bequeath the video to someone else, so I made sure to leave it with the Jeep.  The hope was that all the hard work of those lady and gentlemen actors could live on with a new owner of this fine masterpiece.  

I then checked the dealer's website to see the listing of my old jeep and one of the interior pics showing the entertainment center had a disk sticking out, but it was upside down so I couldn't see if it was the aforementioned DVD.  I bet it was and I bet one of their employees took it home and gave it the love it so deserved.
