I always thought the same about TJ playing linebacker. He dished out a ton of punishment playing running back. Image the damage at LB.

Guy was as quick east to west as he was north to south fast. Think about Ray Lewis with more speed and quickness. Did he have the nasty in him? Who knows? but he damn sure had the measurables

Arky a surprise, but Ole Miss has Kiffin. I kinda like Kiffin, but he is an odd duck. They pretty much tanked their bowl game.

Always got the impression Andrew Anthony Jr was a good player from EL who Harbaugh saw as prize to one up MSU.

Have no idea why he’s going to the portal but if Harbaugh leaves, maybe the new guy talks Anthony Jr might stay.

Like Dwags, I recall this guy having a decent freshman season. No idea how he was used this year, if at all. Maybe that’s why he’s leaving. As for us—isn’t our WR room already full?

Based on his tweet, umaa was always going to be his one and only choice going back to middle school. And he’s forever blue. Do we want a blue in green? Everyone here knows what a pain it is dealing with our own blue, but no one wants to ban Turtleneck. Can’t imagine it would be any easier with a blue who, unlike our house clown, has actually admitted it.

I wish Marble had stayed with us. I completely understand why he didn’t. But Izzo got crap for not picking up other centers. I get that you have to look at a whole season, but really, let’s just look at how everybody does in this tournament.

According to an article in The Athletic (paywall) on 3/15/23, the transfer window of May1 thru 15 will be busy as QB decisions begin to sort out.

More than 70% of the QB’s who were rated in the Top 50 in their recruiting classes transfer and so far 115 QB’s have entered the transfer portal with more expected to follow after spring practices conclude.

I meant Paxson would have been a good fit with the culture. I'll agree with Nordic that it's a good sign Tyson is coming back (and maybe Hall). If both left, I think we would have pushed to get Paxson at MSU. If Tyson leaves, I think we'll look for a portal shooting guard (we have plenty of point guards).

IMO Walker is Izzo's almost favorite type of guard. A defender, a shooter ... if he was a true passing point guard Izzo would create his own NIL deal.

Forgot about Akins. If Hall left, I think Paxson would have grabbed some of his minutes. I don’t see him as a replacement for (just) Tyson at all.
