Maybe a flex 2/3 and I guarantee is shooting percentage would jump up considerably with a really good point guard on the floor.

Nope. I reached out to my buddy who is tight with FL and he hasn't heard anything. Elsewhere some people in the know have made a best guess that FL is a GA next year and, again, that TK has some non basketball stuff going on that is pretty serious and he has to decide if he wants to continue playing period. Apparently Hall considered transferring briefly but had a change of heart. That's all I've got.

Way too small to be a 2/3. Not really big enough to be a straight 2.

Not to take this thread in a direction that starts bashing players but can someone convincee that Hauser has delivered more based on expectations than Kithier?

Saw something the other day that there are (or were a few days ago) 78 schools with at least 4 players that have entered the portal.

Kithier is a good player and would be one of those plug and play Sr role players for Izzo next year if there was room at the 4. Like a Goins or a McQuaid etc. Kids get better under Izzo and by the time they are Srs they are very solid players, even if off the bench. He's just too small for the 5, and he has Hall and Hauser in front of him at the 4. I'd love to have him back but there's not a great path to PT. I'd love to have any kid back who wants to come back. No better guy to learn hoops and life under than TI.

Edit to clarify - I am aware that MM is not a 4.

I believe Izzo really likes him. I've seen him put an undersized Kithier in the game to defend much bigger guys that he has no business guarding over guys who are physically better match ups. I think it says a ton about how Izzo thinks the kid works.

I'm assuming Henry is gone. With the departure of Rocket the best scorer we are returning next year from this years team is Hauser.

I think that would be great, but I am just one alum. I know that there are lots of people in corners of the internet that would be very angry at this.

I could see Loyer staying with the team, but I have no idea how he would get a single meaningful minute. At current he's 4th at PG and certainly can't play off the ball.

Based on expecation? No. Hauser was a huge disappointment. Some thought he'd be the best player on the team.

He is a more talented player than Kithier though.

Watts transferred to Spire Academy for his senior HS season and he signed with MSU sticking to his verbal commitment after 10 unoffical visits and several visits from Izzo.  He was a late verbal who signed in the early signing period.

Sometimes things don't work out.  Don't think it was a lack of effort on Watts part.  For whatever reasons Watts while being listed at a 6'2" PG Watts felt more comfortable as a SG and told Izzo he'd rather not be the PG at one point this season.

Hope he finds the success he wants at his next stop.

Wow. I had no idea he is that small. Maybe his future is playing PG even if he thinks otherwise.

Lot of pressure on these kids. From family friends themselves. I don’t envy them. And I never disagree with a kid making a tough decision line this. Way tougher on him than us as fans.
