Quick update.

Wife and I have developed post COVID coughs. Fatigue is still there, afternoon naps and 10:00pm bedtimes.

O2 meter arrived last week and thankfully its reading 97-98 2x daily. Doc told me to hold off on 2 mile walks and start with 10 minutes on the Airdyne with the O2 meter checking before, at 3 min, 6 min and after the 10 min. Specifically said no more than 10 minutes for a week. Then check in to see where I'm at.

Most sobering thing I was told was any hint of chest pain gets me an echocardiogram. Seems they are seeing heart valve damage in a percentage of folks like myself who didn't experience respiratory distress after testing positive.

My FIL was sent home early yesterday because a couple of guys have tested positive at work. He works for a robotic manufacturer. They sanitized everything.
Hopefully no one else gets it.

The fucking hits just keep on coming with the Rona....
The lungs are headed in the right direction, but my guts are now trashed. Can't eat without exploding an hour or two later.
Every day it's something new. It's the sickness that never ends.

Just on this very small little sample size on tSwill, we have seen different people that got the virus impacted in very different ways. Reading GRR and Joe's posts today, you wouldn't even think they have the same virus. This thing is a motherfucker.

Don't know who it is because of HIPAA. Our CEO did a company wide Teams meeting. Most of the shop guys never enter the office area, but some do...the afflicted is one of them.

The way things have ramped up recently, have no idea why they insist many of us come to the office instead of working from home.

3 hours ago Spectrum Health in GR said they are nearing capacity admitting "nearly" 300 COVID patients on Wednesday. That was at 3:00pm so its safe to say they have passed the 300 mark @ 6:15 as I type.

Mercy Health in Muskegon has 125 nurses and cma's out with positive Covid tests.

This thing explodes and we start seeing GR hospitals overflow I suspect the Dutch arrogance of "We aren't Detroit" is going to vaporize

To steal a line from Bobby Sak, people are stupid. A 70 year old neighbor went to TJ Max in Eastbrook Shopping Center today and said she walked in and immeadiately.

They had people lined up she said at least one line of 25 waiting to get to registers. Then asked me about shopping on line with stores online as opposed to using Amazon that intimidates her. I told her Target, Best Buy The Gap all have websites are easy to navigate.

D Wags is right. CDC Director Redfield was interviewed on a local TV station last night and basically said we're going to start seeing a million new cases a week very soon if we don't start following the rules (mask, distance and hand washing).

My oldest works at UVM in Burlington. Tonight bars and restaurants start shutting down at 10pm rather than 11:00-2:00am and they are starting contact tracing at those establishments. VT had 84 cases yesterday. 7 day trend is up 49% and Gov Phil Scott (R) ain't effin' around. (VT has a population of 628K)

He knows if the states can't get its arms around COVID the VT ski season is in jeopardy. This is the same governor who shut down B&B's from March until June 15 when the first wave hit.
