Gotta be honest it's damn nice to have baseball back. I have no idea why I'm up but I'm watching the end of Giants/Dodgers. Baseball is pretty boring but it's nice to have it on. I hardly notice that there aren't fans there.

I've got a semi for Thursday's NBA start.

I missed Garcia throwing as well. Easing Fulmer back in in a shortened season is the perfect scenario for him

True. Could just be a hot streak or an extended Brennan Boesch run. But he's really re-worked that swing, ignoring the launch angle craze and a swing that was too big, It seems he's much more focused on just making contact, ensuring plate coverage and going with the pitch. His defense means he just needs to hit enough to justify his playing time.

He's not suddenly Ted Williams but the swing changes he started last year really seem to be settling in. Pitchers aren't sure how to counter that right now. Used to be you could get a fastball by him easily. He's feasting on those right now......
