What’s the prevailing opinion of Papa Murphy’s
I enjoy the thin crust chicken Mediterranean pizza immensely. Good value and all you have to do it cook it yourself. Big fan!

I've never been in one so I don't know any of the staff's prevailing opinions.

How does losing your foot do you any good? Terrible plan of action.

I’m willing to share a very strong opinion just as soon as I find out what Papa Murphy’s is.

DWags don’t break a foot that way. Maybe you would explain why you’re in the ER connected to a guy. I never want that conversation.
Papa Murphy’s sells bake it at home pizza. It’s okay if you want to bake the pizza at home in your own oven.
Concept is good for the franchise since with no ovens you eliminate the huge gas bill for the pizza ovens.

How do you get a Papa Murphy's? I'd try it. For science.

You go to a Papa Murphy’s location and purchase the pizza. It’s nice all fresh ingredients, much better than a frozen pizza.
Looks like the only metro Detroit location is in Canton.

Re: What’s the prevailing opinion of Papa Murphy’s
Have wanted to try it but no locations in the Detroit area...likely too many good pizza joints here to compete with. Sis and her husband live in Cary, NC and have 3 locations in town. They really like it. Said the Tuscan chicken and sausage is a favorite. She said it comes on some sort of cardboard that is oven safe.
On a side note, ordered pasty from Pasty Central in Calumet and had some shipped to my sis. Expecting something good we were both disappointed. No detectable rutabaga and the dough is not made with lard.
Is there a quality pasty place in/near Marquette that ships?

Not sure if they all ship but they are good. Cal’s party store in Marquette has the best in town. However, the best in the UP are at the Au Train Grocery. So Good!!

I’m spoiled there’s so many amazing pizzerias out here I just can’t do the chain places. Briefly when I moved out of the city I was buying domino’s until I could find the good shit around here. I will note dominos definitely stepped up their game. Haven’t had Papa Murphy’s in a long time. If any of you guys go to the city I can tell you where the best pizza in Brooklyn is. It will change your life.

Also, Detroit pizza is becoming a thing out here. That’s a huge compliment. The east coast rejects Chicago pizza but Detroit pizza is highly praised.

Motown is the one who should be worried. Having to explain why he’s got a foot in his ass would be much more difficult. ER docs and nurses have seen all sorts of things in patients’ bodies, but a busted off foot would have to be a first.

Of course they are; you live in the part of western NY that’s the equivalent of West Virginia Appalachia.

Just buy your own dough and make your own. It’s fun.
I’m gonna try something here. I’m going to say,” I WANT TO BUT DEEP DISH PIZZA PANS AND ACCESSORIES”.
I’m going on Facebook after the game to see if I have adds in my feed.

Good point. Rochester is among the most educated cities in America, and is in the top 10 for people with post graduate degrees. Two hours south is an Ivy League school. Hopefully you can remain an obesity powerhouse.

Thanks. Will check them out. If you ever get up to the Keweenaw stop at Toni's Country Kitchen in Laurium. Best pasty I ever had. Unfortunately they don't ship.Motown Spartan wrote:The Pantry wrote:Have wanted to try it but no locations in the Detroit area...likely too many good pizza joints here to compete with. Interesting the east is liking Detroit style now. Was home for the summer between sophomore and junior year when the first Jett's pizza place opened less than a mile away. Now over 400 Jet's franchises from the east coast all the way to Phoenix.steveschneider wrote:Also, Detroit pizza is becoming a thing out here. That’s a huge compliment. I've grown tired of Detroit style and mostly order hand tossed now. Got a Jet 10 this evening
