Tell me about the church of Christian Science

My father was raised in the church and I just received Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy in the mail.

I’m curious as to what you guys know about it

It’s a church of Christians who are scientists. Duh.

I made lobster risotto tonight for wifey and I. Was damn good. Hell’s Kitchen recipe.

So your dad experienced the religion directly and you’re asking a bunch of internet strangers to tell you something about it. The logic you’re displaying is giving me a headache and I’d take some Aleve except I know your dad wouldn’t approve.

They use science to prove the miracles of Jesus. One guy made walk on water shoes, and a woman used transmogrifier to turn water into wine, although it was kind of a janky vintage.

I usually don’t “plate” my dishes for the wife. But she was at Valpo all weekend visiting the eldest. She was texting me her ETA.so when she walked in I had it plated for her.
